A day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories as our beloved grandparents joined their grandchildren on campus. From heartfelt smiles to joyful moments, it was a beautiful celebration of the wisdom and warmth they bring to every family.
The Foundation Section of The TonsBridge School (grades KG, 1 and 2) celebrated Grandparents Day with great passion and gusto. Over 300 grandparents attended the event that was lovingly put together by the tiny tots and their teachers.
The grandparents were accorded a traditional welcome and the program began with the welcome address by the Headmistress Ms. Kritika Mansingh followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Director sir, Administrative Officer sir and Principal Ma’am.
Director Mr. Shailendra Benjamin addressed the gathering and proposed the Vote of Thanks. This was followed by merrymaking by the grandparents. The very energetic and zealous grandmothers played Musical Chairs and the grandparents then shook a leg to catchy retro music.
High Tea was served at the end and the grandparents departed taking away with them some endearing everlasting memories.
