The TonsBridge School installed the Prefect Body for 2022-23 in a solemn but impressive ceremony on July 25.
The programme began with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra by the students, followed by the School choir singing Hum Honge Kaamyaab…”. The Principal Mrs. Bela Sehgal then addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of the occasion, followed by the Administrative Officer Mr. K. K. Sharma announcing the names of the students appointed to the various posts and apprising them of their duties and responsibilities.
The Director Mr. Shailendra Benjamin then administered the oath of office to the appointees, following which badges were presented to them by the Chairman Mr. Vijay Nagar, Director Mr. Shailendra Benjamin, Principal Mrs. Bela Sehgal, Dean of Studies Mr. Ajay Aggarwal, Headmistress Mrs. Meeta Aswal, Senior School Co-ordinator Mrs. Smriti Goel and Middle School Co-ordinator Mrs. Amrita Jha. The School’s Chairman Mr. Vijay Nagar then handed over the School flag to the School Captains and the House flags to the House Captains.
Addressing the staff and the students, the Chairman congratulated the newly appointed prefects and captains and advised every student to strive to be a leader in life by putting in the best possible effort to improve himself/herself.
The programme concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, followed by the new prefect body joining the Management and staff for refreshments.

Editorial Prefects- Arunangshu Barai & Anushka Rawat
House Captains-

Terra House (Green)- Pranav H. Nair & Muskan Mittal
